Chandigarh,15.03.14:”Gul Panag kicked off her campaign in style today morning by running and walking with the public at Sukhna Lake. She was also joined by some members of Party there. Later she came to Aam Aadmi Party office and like a true AAP member she gave liberty to workers to organize her day to day campaign and assured them of her full support. She said campaign won’t be run by few people sitting in office but by all the volunteers just the way party says to bring in Swaraj. She also said that she ll give her time from morning six to mid night for party. She met all the volunteers who introduced themselves and listened to their suggestions. She also emphasized on following model code of conduct and requested all volunteers to make themselves aware off all requirements by Election commission. She said as long as we don’t have permission to hold rallies, everyone should campaign with bare minimum allowed to do so. All party volunteers assured her of full support.
Gul Panag has brought the much required enthusiasm and energy back in party volunteers. She also said that Congress has fielded the same candidate is a slap on Chandigarh people’s face. She also said that she ll be telling people how they are fleeced by the corrupt politicians after they buy their votes with Money and liquor. She also said that in Delhi congress was taken by surprise and now they ll be better prepared. And she is going to tell people of Chandigarh that she ll take their voice forward in a fitting manner. She also said that some people had managed the voting in past and she ll not let that happen and will connect with people and become their voice.
She went to sector-20 Mosque and Gurudwara in the afternoon and later in the evening went to Mandir and Church to pray for success and for blessings of God.
She also did campaign with all women team of four including herself and doing everything under proper code of conduct. Later she did campaign in Dhanas where she met the locals and listened to their grievances. She also campaigned in sector -34 & 35. Where she met people and shop keepers and also asked for donation from them.”
